Service Terms and Expectations

Clear guidelines for a successful training journey.

4.1 Training Service Descriptions and Limitations

The descriptions for each of our training programs and services are detailed on our website and in our enrollment materials. While we strive for accuracy and consistency, Pawsome Progress does not guarantee specific outcomes, as results depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the consistent application of training methods by the owner, the dog's individual temperament, health, history, and environmental factors. Our services are instructional and consultative in nature.

4.2 Client Responsibilities and Expectations

Clients are expected to actively participate in training sessions, practice exercises as instructed by our trainers, and maintain open communication regarding their dog's progress and any concerns. Owners are responsible for their dog's behavior and well-being at all times, both during and outside of Pawsome Progress sessions. Consistent effort from the owner is paramount to achieving desired results.

4.3 Safety Requirements and Health Prerequisites

For the safety of all participants (human and canine), all dogs participating in group classes or private sessions must be up-to-date on necessary vaccinations (Distemper, Parvovirus, Rabies, Bordetella) as recommended by a licensed veterinarian. Proof of vaccination may be required prior to enrollment. Dogs showing signs of illness, aggression towards humans, or uncontrolled aggression towards other dogs may be requested to withdraw from group settings or require private consultation. Owners must disclose any known behavioral or health issues prior to enrollment.

4.4 Scheduling, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policies

Scheduling of sessions is subject to trainer availability. For private sessions, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or no-shows, will result in forfeiture of the session fee. For group classes, missed sessions are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, as class sizes are limited. Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances at the sole discretion of Pawsome Progress. Please contact us directly for specific program cancellation policies.

5.1 Payment Schedules and Accepted Methods

Full payment for all group classes and board-and-train programs is required upon enrollment to secure your spot. For private consultations and packages, a deposit may be required, with the remaining balance due at the first session or as per the agreed payment plan. We accept various payment methods including bank transfer, PayNow, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

5.2 Refund Policies and Cancellation Procedures

Refund policies vary depending on the service:

  • Group Classes: No refunds are issued once a class has commenced or within 7 days of the scheduled start date. A 50% refund may be issued for cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the class start date.
  • Private Sessions/Packages: Full refunds for unused sessions or packages may be granted if requested within 14 days of purchase and prior to the commencement of any sessions. After 14 days, unused sessions are non-refundable but may be transferable or converted to credit at our discretion, subject to administrative fees.
  • Board-and-Train Programs: A 75% refund is available for cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled drop-off date. Cancellations between 15-30 days prior will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than 15 days prior or after commencement.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@pawsomeprogress.sg.

5.3 Late Payment Fees and Collection Procedures

Invoices for services not requiring upfront payment (e.g., corporate services or custom programs) are due within 7 days of issuance. A late payment fee of 2% per month will be applied to overdue balances. Pawsome Progress reserves the right to suspend services or pursue legal collection actions for severely delinquent accounts.

5.4 Package Transfers and Credit Policies

Training packages are generally non-transferable to other clients unless explicitly agreed upon by Pawsome Progress. Store credit, if issued, will have an expiry date of 6 months from the date of issuance. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash.

6.1 Liability Limitations and Insurance Requirements

Pawsome Progress, its trainers, and its associates shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, accident, or illness to any person or animal, or any property damage that may occur during or as a result of participation in our Services or on our premises. Clients acknowledge and assume all risks associated with dog training, including the risk of injury to themselves, their dog(s), or others. We advise all clients to have adequate personal liability insurance and pet insurance.

6.2 Dog Safety and Health Prerequisites

All dogs must be in good health and free from contagious diseases prior to participating in any Pawsome Progress program. Owners are responsible for informing Pawsome Progress of any medical conditions, injuries, or behavioral issues (e.g., reactivity, aggression) their dog may have. Dogs exhibiting severe behavioral issues that pose a risk to others may be required to undergo private consultations before being considered for group classes.

6.3 Injury Procedures and Emergency Protocols

In the event of an injury or emergency involving a client's dog during a Pawsome Progress session, our trainers will take immediate steps to ensure the safety and well-being of the dog, including administering basic first aid and, if necessary, transporting the dog to a veterinary clinic. All associated veterinary costs shall be the sole responsibility of the dog's owner. Owners must provide emergency contact information and consent for emergency veterinary care.

6.4 Property Damage and Responsibility Clauses

Clients are solely responsible for any damage caused by their dog(s) to Pawsome Progress property, facilities, or the property of third parties (e.g., during off-site training sessions). Any costs associated with repairing such damage will be borne by the client. Pawsome Progress reserves the right to charge for such damages and associated administrative costs.
